Jazz Around took us to the world of top-shelf music for the third time. In 2024, the artists of the Jazz Around Festival performed at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art and its green, park surroundings.
After the premiere edition of the Jazz Around Festival at the Moszna Castle and the installment at the Katowice NOSPR and MCK, it was time for the capital. Ujazdowski Castle, with its historic walls and beautiful gardens, became an arena for exceptional sensual ecstasies.
The Jazz Around Festival presented various types of jazz-related music, exploring a wide range of sounds and styles. From funk and soul to electronic experiments, from world music to fusion, everyone could find something for themselves here.

Following the idea of being in constant motion, the organizers of the Jazz Around Festival decided to move the second edition of the festival from the castle interiors to the post-industrial city of Katowice, a city pulsating with life and culture of the highest caliber. Katowice, recognized as the birthplace of Polish jazz and popular music, aligned perfectly with the festival’s objectives. In 2023, performers included Jacob Banks, Cory Wong, Incognito, The Comet is Coming, Benjamin Clementine, Stephen Day, Theo Croker, Brooklyn Funk Essentials, Dorota Miśkiewicz feat. Henryk Miśkiewicz, Monika Borzym, MaBaSo and Kuba Badach, Mononeon, Ole Børud, Marek Napiórkowski Octet String Theory, Mörk, Candlelight Ficus, Klawo, After ‘Ours, Mychelle, USO9001, and Kasia Pietrzko Trio with Maciej Kądziel and Andrzej Chyra.
2022
The first edition of the Jazz Around Festival, in the atmospheric setting of Moszna Castle, was enthusiastically received by audiences relishing good groove, danceable funk and elevated jazz. Music of where these genres meet filled the interiors of the castle and the space of the castle’s park. Performers at 2022 included Poluzjanci, Jules Buckley with AUKSO – Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy, Theo Katzman, Cody Fry, Dirty Loops, Jazzanova, Anomalie, Scary Pockets, EABS, Marek Napiórkowski, Kinga Głyk, Adam Bałdych & Łukasz Ojdana, Cherise or David Ryan Harris.
