This British group has specialized in creating positive jazz and funk vibes for 44 years. Founded in 1979 by guitarist Jean-Paul Maunika, the band is known for its unique style combining various genres – jazz, funk, soul, acid jazz or world music. In 1981, the band released its debut album, “Jazz Funk,” which became extremely popular outside the UK. The band’s biggest hit, the song “Don’t You Worry ’bout a Thing,” saw the light of day in 1992 and opened the door to a wide career and recognition. In the following years, Incognito released more albums – “Inside Life,” “Tribes, Vibes and Scribes” and “Positivity” – and toured around the world. In 2019, the band celebrated its 40th anniversary with the release of the album “Tomorrow’s New Dream.”
